Part-Time Practicing Application

Part-time membership is offered to NBCA members with the approval of the Board and defined in the bylaws:

13(2) A member who

(a) practices twelve (12) hours or less per week;

(b) administers not more than fifty (50) treatments per week; and

(c) provides to the Board annually a statutory declaration confirming (a) and (b),

may be registered as a part-time member subject to the approval of the Board.

An administrative fee of $ 70.00 must accompany this application for consideration by the Board. Other membership fees will apply when the application is approved.

I understand that as a part time member:

• I must continue to carry professional liability protection, PLP, as provided by the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association, CCPA, or equivalent from another insurance carrier, and provide

  proof of the same.

• Continuing education requirements must be maintained. 

• I must not practice more than 12 hours per week.

• administer more than 50 treatments per week.

• provide a statutory declaration of such annually.

I further understand that I must submit an application to return to full time practice for BOD approval before making an increase in number of hours practiced or increase in number of treatments performed per week.
